Mapping Masters Made my Business Crash
When I started Amazon selling, I didn't have any brand and knowledge. I selected A Name of my store but Sell as Generic catagory. I am using my store name as the first name in my listing title. Now I have Registered my trademark with same name of my store. Now I am facing 3 major issues with all my existing generic listing
1. Amazon is asking me for product packaging photo with EAN barcode on it then only Amazon will change Brand Name from generic to My Brand Name.
2. A mapper suddenly come into my generic listing and he change the product title, description and BRAND name from generic to his brand name. And he does that in just 48 hrs after his first appearance in my listings.
3. Amazon support staff and managers are just making cases.
My clear question is how the mapper has forced the Amazon to change the brand name of a listing, and Me (the creator of this listing) not able to convenience the Amazon to change the brand name.
I am requesting all of you the knowledgeable sellers to sellers to please tell me that trick, that Amazon will update brand name as per the listing creator (Me). I don't have EAN barcode number. It is very costly on GS1 portal. And GS1 never sell EAN barcode less then 100 quantity. They are giving 100barcodes for ₹45000.

Hi, this is not a promotion, but I bought barcodes not from GS1, they were way too much expensive. I bought it from India barcodes (google it). it was good and cheaper. you can try.

If he can make changes to brand name and all, then you can also do the same changes.
What you need to do is :
As you got trademark now, you just need to enroll for brand registry, and start listing by your brand name. No one can map.
There is no point of sticking to that particular listing and buying EAN barcodes as that is not required. When your new listing will get 8 - 10 good reviews which happens in less than a month, you will get more orders from your new listing.

All the generic listings are shared with other selling parters. As you have registered your trade mark, please get it approved by the Amazon brand registry and create a new listing. If any infringements found, you can report it using the Report infringement tool.
