Is this sticker branding not enough to meet error code 5665?

Hi there,

Amazon selling support keeps saying that this is not enough proof that the branding is permanently affixed to the product or packaging. Do they not consider stickers as permanently affixed?

stickers are not permanent branding. Anything you could create at your home printer will not be professional branding

Hi @Seller_KrqUmkC83mWoy,

Let me help explain what Amazon is looking for.

In the Brand Registry application requirements help page, under "Product image requirements," Amazon specifically states that "stickers, labels, hung tags, or stamps are not considered permanently affixed since they can be easily added or removed after production."

For error code 5665, you can find the requirements in this help page. The brand name needs to be "stamped, stitched, printed, or glued on the product, packaging, or both so that it can't be easily removed."

To get your brand approved, you might want to consider having your brand name:

  • Printed directly on the product during production
  • Sewn into the product
  • Laser-etched
  • Engraved
  • Or permanently printed on the packaging

I know this might mean some changes to your production process, but these methods should help get your brand approved.

Hope this helps explain what Amazon is looking for with permanent branding!

Best regards, Michael
