No Buy Box for own product / With FBA and Items in stock

I know that this whole buy box thing has been asked a million times, but I just can't fix it.

I am a pretty "new" seller on Amazon, but my account is already around 6 months old. Furthermore, I'm not sure if that makes a difference, but I wanted to mention it. I use FBA, and the items are in stock. The pictures seem to be perfect, and I made sure they adhere to all the standards. I also have the professional Amazon Seller Plan.

Something I want to note is that the item was listed around 5 months ago, but only recently made 2 sales. I am not sure if the time between the sales and when the listing was created has something to do with it.

Now what really gets me is that I actually had to buy the box when I updated the listing with new photos and everything for a short time, but then it vanished.

There are only 2 sales, from friends, and in the Health Dashboard, it states "healthy" in bright green.

Now, the listing itself is what I don't understand. I am the sole manufacturer, designer, etc. It is my product through and through.

I sell it on different sites as well, but for a higher price, so that shouldn't be the issue. The price is also reasonable and in the price range of other offers in the niche.

It might be the price, if your ODR is fine, I have had in a couple of cases even with a product on FBA, I was selling products even slightly cheaper than other sites and I still did not get the BB. It might also be the bots don't include shipping costs from other sites. Try lower the price for 10 minutes and see if it makes a difference, if it does at least you know it's a pricing issue.

what about RAISING the price to match the other sites you sell on and using the difference in the prices to pay for advertising clicks to get you up the top of the search page? just a thought, hope it works out!

If you are the manufacturer and the only person selling that exact product on Amazon then you should have the buy box, regardless of anything else. But if my experience is anything to go by, you may have to battle to get it!!

From seller central, click the menu in the very top left of the screen, go to pricing, and then click on Pricing Health. You'll see 2 tabs, one for Inactive Offers and one for Pricing Opportunities. Click on Pricing Opportunities. If the ASIN without the buy box is in there then I think it will say something about it not being eligible to be the featured offer due to a pricing policy issue (or something along those lines!). If that is the case then this is something I have regularly battled with over the last 6 months!! We are manufacturers and sole sellers of our products. The only way to get it back has been to open a case explaining the situation, to which you will get a standard reply, and then you just have to keep reopening the case and repeating the explanation again and again until they will finally say it is being investigated by the relevant internal team, at which point it is usually resolved without much more input although it can take a fair while.

When you open the case you need to explain that the pricing is definitely correct, that you are the manufacturer and sole seller of the product, and include a REFERENCE URL (what they call it) which is a URL to the product listing on another website (your own, ideally, but any other site where it is advertised should do fine) as evidence that the price you have set for it on Amazon is the same as, or less than, it is sold for elsewhere.

Keep at them and you will get the buy box back eventually. Good luck!
