Amazon brand name protection is really a joke!!

We have a brand name registered at Amazon and we are fully recognized by Amazon as a brand name owner.

A seller called Warriosupplies uses our brand name on its Amazon website without permission. This is a brand name violation.

We seek Amazon to enforce the brand protection policy to remove the unauthorized seller from using our brand name.

We would like to report a violation through the Amazon link provided, but that link does not allow us to report it because that ASIN is ours.

The brand registry team recognized the problem and offered an apology but still did not want to remove the unauthorized seller.

What is joke!!

If an unauthorized seller can use our brand name without permission on Amazon, what is the purpose of having a brand name?

If Amazon does not enforce its own brand name protection policy on its own platform, why does Amazon have a protection zero policy? Maybe it should be changed to Amazon's brand name zero protection policy.

If this can happen to us, it can happen to you. Please let me know if you have any ideas to help me to wake Amazon up on this issue.

Sadly, this is a common thing. Brand registry does nothing to protect your brand. In fact, some have had their entire brand hijacked and Amazon does nothing because the reality is it doesn't hurt them. They are making money.

This is what is suggested on the forums from another seller:

Have your attorney send a carefully worded Demand Letter (by Certified Mail) to Amazon’s “Office of the General Counsel”.

These are the most recent addresses I could find for the legal beagles……………

Amazon.com Legal Department

410 Terry Avenue North

Seattle, WA 98109-5210

Amazon.com Legal Department

P.O. Box 81226

Seattle, WA 98108

Include appropriate paperwork showing ownership of the TM from the USPTO, proof of registration in Brand Registry, and, any links to cases and messages that show that SO FAR Amazon has refused to protect your brand.

On Amazon, other sellers can list their items for sale against pages or copyrighted images that you have used. However, we do require sellers to list only against product detail pages that exactly match their items. If you believe sellers are listing against product detail pages that do not exactly match their items, I recommend completing a test buy and reporting your findings through Report Abuse if you are not in Brand Registry with a fully registered trademark.
