Mapping of a non-returnable product.
Hi, i have a rakhi manufacturing business and i sell rakhis on amazon. On amazon rakhi is a non-returnable product and it is a business of only 15 to 20 days. (Amazon makes it non-returnable during rakshabandhan season)
Last year all my goods got mapped by some other sellers and they were sending some other cheap rakhis to the buyers, now as it is a non returnable product the buyer had to keep it and my listing was getting some really bad reviews. I already have brand registry in amazon. Please suggest a solution to prevent mapping. Complaining after product gets mapped is of no use because it takes time and as i said it is a business of 15 days only.
p.s My rakhi designs are unique and made by me only and not sold to anyone in bulk, so having the same item with someone else is not possible at all.

if you are owner of that listing , then you can edit this listing also , so edit the product title to some other product like some plant and some toy , ultimately other sellers cannot give this item to buyers , and they ran away from your listing.

I suggest please use amazon transparency program or amazon projext zero when you enabled not mapped by any seller if your are using this program

only one solution please activate amazon transparency program ... then protect your listing .... i think they are taking 0.5 to 0.10 pisa for amazon transparency label cost.

Dear Sir,
You need to be a BRAND owner. You have to register your BRAND with the government, under IPR category applicable to Rakhis or whichever item you are selling. Your Lawyer will take a fee and do it. He knows the procedure also and can guide you.
Once BRAND is registered, submit documents to Amazon via SETTINGS tab. Or EMAIL on seller support and make a CASE.
When this is done, you can take LEGAL ACTION against people who SELL YOUR PRODUCT on YOUR AMAZON LISTING. You can file a case against an individual who does not have GST bill FROM YOU, and selling your BRANDED product.
There is no other solution.
You can print a WARNING on LEGAL DISCLAIMER box in EDIT LISTING. A person is required to have a GST bill from you if he is selling on your listing, otherwise send legal notice to that seller. He will run away instantly.
This is the only solution.
But in any case if you decide to make distributors, at a later date, then you can give them Authorisation letter, if they want to sell your Brand online or physical store.
