FBA Packing Requirements

Ensuring proper packaging dimensions is crucial to ensure your inventory reaches Amazon's fulfillment centers safely and efficiently.

Accurate packaging is critical to safeguarding your stock during transit and optimizing its processing upon arrival at our fulfilment centers. In this post, we will share the essential pack group box requirements and provide links to additional resources.

Generally, boxes containing multiple standard-size items:

  • Must not measure less than 15.2 cm x 10.0 cm x 2.5 cm and must not exceed 63.5 cm on any side.
  • Must not weigh less than 0.15 kg and more than 23 kg.

Boxes that contain a single oversize item:

  • Box size can exceed 63.5 cm but must not be more than 73.7 cm on any side.
  • Weight can exceed 23 kg but must not be more than 30 kg or exceed 63.5 cm on any side. A box may exceed the 63.5 cm if it contains oversize units that measure longer than 63.5 cm. Boxes that are excessively large relative to the oversize units may be subject to restriction of shipping privileges, additional fees or refusal at a fulfilment centre.

Any box that weighs more than 15 kg must have a “Team Lift”/”Heavy Package” safety label displayed on the top and sides of each heavy-weight box (5 labels in total).

Accurate weights and dimensions are strictly required for all boxes and pallets.

Inaccurate information or overweight boxes may lead to fees, shipment blocking or refusal at the fulfillment center.

For more information go to Shipping and routing requirements.
