'This is a marketplace facilitator order and hence VAT is being collected and remitted to the tax authorities by Amazon. Your net proceeds will not include VAT for marketplace facilitator order.'

What is this? I have never been charged on sales?

if you are not UK vat registered Amazon does not charge you VAT. if this is the case open a case and let amazon now. if you are VAT registered amazon will NOT charge you VAT. In other words you are better of getting VAT registered because in any case you will pay the VAT.
