A-Z Claim Denial, Buyer Never Returned Item, Claimed Different item, but Stated Ordered by Mistake

Hope we can get some assistance from Mod on this issue, 701-6544494-0910627

Buyer opened a return and we waited for buyer to return item, item was never returned by the buyer, then almost a month later the buyer opened an A-Z Claim that Different from what ordered, however directly in the buyer Comments on the A-Z Claim buyer stated ORDERED BY MISTAKE, Seller shipped the exact item by part number that the buyer ordered and when we questioned the buyer in email, buyer stated that they had indeed ordered wrong item. Amazon has Denied our Appeal on A-Z claim even though we clearly explained that buyer had make a false A-Z claim and that it was never returned to seller which violated Amazon return policy. The claim was actually already closed once by Amazon we received the email stating that buyer had not responded and the case was closed on July 1st, and there was no additional requests made by the buyer or updates according to Amazon, why was the buyer given refund if case was closed, but when we watched the case it never closed, we raised a case to Amazon multiple times and the confirmed it as closed but the still gave 100% refund to the buyer. I am hoping Mod can look into this case and get this overturned as this is buyer faulted returned and buyer never returned item, as I thought Amazon policy was NO RETURN NO REFUND. How does buyer get to keep item and get a free refund. This is very unfair to sellers.
