I would like to suggest you that whenever pickup boy come to pickup your item so you ask him to share his contact number because they pickup lot of items in the same days and sometime they are in rash so maybe they forget to pickup your items and i had a same experience, and I did ask to share their contact number and whenever i have pickup so i call them in advance so now i have no pickup issues and pickup boy is very supporting. hope it will help you, just try to polite and ask to them share their contact number.

Follow below things to have a seamless pickup experience:
1) Keep good terms with the pickup people.
2) As mentioned by @Seller_KnMp3gG5qwDG2, make sure you have the contact details of the pickup agents as well as their supervisors. Inform them about the pickups early in the morning.
3) If the pickup is not done on the assigned day, and you don't inform the courier company about the same, there is a high probability that the pickup will not show in their system on the next day.
4) To solve problem 3, use the pickup reschedule form given by Amazon. This form will make sure that the courier company gets a notification on the next day also.
5) Note that blaming the courier people / Amazon is not going to solve the problem. You will just end-up being frustrated. Try to solve it at the root level as much as possible.
