Should I mix retail arbitrage sales with my private label business?
I have been selling on Amazon since 2014 and up until the last 1-2 years, my category has become so saturated that my sales have fallen off the cliff.
I want to supplement my income on Amazon by also selling retail arbitrage. However, will I be putting my account at risk of all that comes with selling retail arb? Please leave a comment and lets hear it.

Great idea!
NOT!
Back when you started? Yes.
In 2024? Your account will be suspended as soon as any of the brands of the products you sourced retail, file a complaint against you. ...And the will.
Beside that, it is no more possible to make any profit from RA.
Back in the day, maybe your local Home Depot had to clear out space to make room for new merchandise. Those clear out items were still in demand in other parts of the country.
Now, Amazon is so saturated, the competition cut throat, that there cannot be any profit buying and reselling retail.

If you aren't EXTREMELY careful, and know EXACTLY what brands you can do RA on, then yes, you will be putting your entire account at risk.
One of the RA cheerleaders, who might still chime in here to tell you that it's great, actually bragged about 17 violations, and keeping a law firm on monthly payments to handle them. IMO, not a good way to run a business, nor something to brag about (sort of like saying how good of a driver you are based on the number of speeding tickets you've gotten out of).

Good afternoon @Seller_6IjsNm3WWI7CD,
Thanks for posting your question! For the most part, I want to defer to the inputs from other sellers (thankfully we have two responses in this thread already). Retail Arbitrage is a long-debated topic within these forums, with many lengthy thread discussions. Here is one from from a few months ago titled "Retail arbitrage experience", and it gives first-hand seller experience to RA. I recommend reading through that thread, as it will help give additional seller perspectives.
Let me know if you have additional thoughts, and I wish you the best of luck!
