Is our brand safe on Amazon?

Recently, an individual placed 4-5 orders for my product through different Amazon accounts (likely belonging to family members, as all numbers are linked to the same person and this guy is from Jaipur, Rajasthan). This individual has now contacted me via WhatsApp Business and is attempting to extort money by threatening to return all the products and leave extremely negative reviews on Amazon if I don’t comply with his demands.

I raised this concern with Seller Support with order IDs, but as expected, they stated that their Internal Team would investigate the matter which never happens. Based on my past experiences, Seller Support has not been proactive in resolving such issues, particularly for new businesses. It often feels like they only delay the process without providing a tangible solution.

So finally the scammer posted 2 extremely negative fake reviews. The scammer has even mocked me, claiming that Amazon provides no protection against malicious activities, allowing anyone to post false reviews that harm a brand’s reputation and sales.

We feel like Amazon promotes such scams so that brand's reputation goes down and sellers spend more money to rank high their products again. Its all part of the scam in which I feel Amazon also involved.

I found the scammer's contact numbers.

This is so frustrating that to get some little benefits out of it, Amazon promotes such unethical behavior on its own platform.
