OTDR Protected Sales Showing up as late delivery on OTDR Report
First of all, everything on our OTDR report, which is 6 shipments, was delivered on the date that Amazon said it had to be delivered by. 4 we shipped on our own without using buy shipping, before editing things to be more OTDR compliant. However, two of our shipments that we shipped using buy shipping, and with the OTDR protected checkmark, are showing up on our late report. How is this possible?? Does anyone have an answer, and is anyone else seeing this?
Literally every single shipment on our report was delivered on the date it was supposed to be. So I'm baffled by this new incoherent metric. Also it just makes no sense that when I go into the 2 OTDR protected orders, the green check mark is there saying we're protected, but yet it's dinging our metrics.

If it is showing as delivered on the correct date, are you sure you are looking at the PST time and date as opposed to the GMT time and date? This is what is confusing most people.
Regarding you saying you are covered but the late deliveries are still showing up in the report, did you use both Automated Handling Time (AHT) and Shipping Settings Automation (SSA)? Even though the "OTDR Protected" part shows up in Buy Shipping, you only really have it if you are set up with AHT and SSA. I hate it, but that's the way it is, sadly. If you hover your mouse over the "OTDR Protected" in Buy Shipping, you will see this:
If you purchase this shipping label and used Automated Handling Time (AHT) and Shipping Settings Automation (SSA), your OTDR will not be negatively impacted by late deliveries.

+1, take a second look. I thought mine were on time too. Also keep in mind that OTDR protection did not start when OTDR reporting launched.

Yes! We have experienced this several times and have contacted seller support, but have not received any type of reasonable response, and instead are getting canned answers that are not related to our specific question. This started with a call to seller support 3 days ago, and we have subsequently gone back and forth with Amazon approximately 8 times since on case ID15806539861.
We provided every screen shot, every detail, or anything else that they have requested but yet there is no resolution or acknowledgement that these items meet all of the criteria for protection and should not be counted in our OTDR metric. The most we have gotten out of Amazon is basically "Your OTDR metric is above 90%. Don't worry about it". That is not an acceptable answer.
We need an answer from Amazon or an acknowledgement that this is an error and will be corrected. It is even more frustrating that 2 more of these have shown up in today's report.
MODS can somebody PLEASE address this so we and others in our situation can either be set straight, or let us know that it is an error or oversight in Amazon's system that they intend to fix.
Thank you in advance

Every seller that doesn't come to the forums buys labels thinking they are protected since the label looks protected when you purchase it.

I started this Forum last week
Amazon Late Delivery report

This is happening to us too. We buy everything through amazon, have all protections(we believe) turned on and still getting a 30% ODTR

It's also unclear that third party shipping integrators like ShipStation will really be "approved" for Buy Shipping. Yes, you can currently use Buy Shipping on SS but I don't think it is protected. You'll note below that they seem to be only accepting SS if you use Seller Fulfilled Prime and not if you us just ship standard FBM. Plus, if you are shipping USPS GA, that service is increasingly not available on SS.

we have more than 10 orders that were OTDR protected
