DELL Brand Approval
Hi everyone,
I am a new seller's on Amazon , I am writing to this forum to seek assistance with a frustrating issue I am facing with Amazon Brand Registry. I have been trying to get brand approval for Dell products , but my applications have been continuously rejected without any explanation or feedback.
I have provided all of the required documentation, including purchase invoices, business registration documents, and contact information for my authorized Dell reseller. I have also followed all of Amazon's guidelines for applying for brand approval.
I am at a loss as to why my applications are being rejected. I have contacted Amazon Seller Support multiple times, but I have not received any helpful information. They simply keep saying that my application does not meet their requirements without providing any specific reasons.
This is becoming very frustrating, as I am unable to sell Dell products on Amazon without brand approval.
I am reaching out to the community on this forum to see if anyone has any experience with this issue. Has anyone else been rejected for brand approval for Dell products despite providing all of the required documentation? If so, were you able to resolve the issue?
Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Are you authorized by Dell to sell their products on Amazon and have proper invoices from a Dell authorized WHOLESALE distributor?

Brand Registry is for sellers registering their own brand.
You cannot register Dell as your brand (obviously)
To sell Dell on Amazon you would need to contact Dell and obtain written permission to sell on Amazon.

Hello @Seller_GHCcqJo0wKI7T,
My name is Dougal from the Community Manager Team and I would be happy to assist with your brand application. First, I would like to clarify that there are 2 separate workflows when it comes to brands as @Seller_Hi7wbO2Kbo6blstated.
- Brand Registry is for brand owners that meet the specific eligibility criteria. Biggest callout being that the seller owns the trademark of the brand they are trying to enroll.
- Selling application for a brand - this is applying to sell a brand that is currently enrolled in Brand Registry. This does require a relationship with the brand owner.
In order to be approved to sell Dell branded product, you will need to complete the selling application. The Apply to sell a product, category, or brand Seller University video is a fantastic resource that will provide detail on the process and document requirements that are needed to be approved to sell the brand.
I would also call out that a Letter of Authorization from the brand owner is the best way to move forward in the process. Of course if you have a close relationship with the brand owner, they can grant you the appropriate access to sell their brand as well.
Hope this helps clarify, please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Best, Dougal
