GTIN Exemption Headaches
Hi guys - trying to add a new product to the Amazon catalog without a product ID (UPC/GTIN, etc) - we are registered in Brand Registry, and are adding the product to an open category (not one that needs additional approval).
When clicking the button "I dont' have a Product ID" on the 'Product Identity' tab, it says "A GTIN Exemption is Required - Apply Now", which I've clicked on and received immediate approval for numerous times.
So it won't recognize that my brand (typed in exactly as exemption applied for) has an exemption for this category (same one applied for).
Despite the successful GTIN Exemption message saying wait 30 minutes to list, which I did, seller support said wait 72 hours before they would help - which I have. It still shows the same message (A GTIN Exemption is Required - Apply Now) and will not allow the product to be added.
Seller support sees the exemption for my brand for that category on their end, but can't seem to figure out why it won't still work (even 72 hours later).
Has anyone else ran into this? Was there a fix? Thanks for any assistance.
