Area Specific Product in Wrong Fulfillment Center

I have a product I sell that is specific to customers located on the west coast. The listing header even lists California, Oregon & Washington State for its use.

I have sold this product for 8 years but within the last 12 months the sales have dropped off to almost nothing. I have around 150 units in one fulfillment center located in ROC1 (Rochester, NY). My product used to have the Prime badge but now it doesn't. Using my Prime buyer's account I found that it was taking 6 days for delivery where my competition takes 1 day.

I've opened several cases with Support and the answer is they can't manually transfer the product from the east coast to the west coast. All the cases get pushed upstream to different teams and I get same answer after waiting 4 days to 10 days for an answer.

Usually I get some canned answer for other cases I've opened and I just keep re-submitting them until I get ahold of a person who actually reads & understands the issue and Cares about doing a good job. But on this issue, which I've keep the case alive for a couple of months now, seems like I'm not getting to the right person.

Anybody else have had a similar issue? I'm tempted to do a removal order for all that item (it's all in that one fulfillment center). How much do you think that'll be? 150 pieces approx 7"x3"x1/4" & about 60 grams weight.

Amazon doesn't care what you "think" you know about logistics. They know best (in their eyes). They aren't going to move inventory to another warehouse just because you asked (nicely).

You may want to consider pulling some units back and offering merchant fulfilled with faster delivery.
