Negative Exact Keywords Not Working - Still Getting Traffic and Spend
I've added some keywords as negative exacts to my campaigns, but it seems like Amazon is ignoring the negative keywords.
After days of being added, I’m still getting traffic for those keywords.
Here’s a real example: I have a broad match modifier campaign for "+mother +day" and I added "mothers day gift basket" and "mothers day gift box" as negative exacts, but still getting traffic for those keywords and wasting my budget.
The negatives are added at the ad group level, and these are single keyword campaigns with only one ad group. (Yesterday, I added the negatives at the campaign level as well, but the result is the same.)
As I undrestand corerctly, Amazon’s algorithm sometimes allows very closely related search terms to trigger ads, even with negatives in place, especially with broad match. So I’m wondering, could this be one of those cases?
Anyone else experiencing this?

I had one of those recently, but they were rare.
Maybe it's not screening out "Mother's Day" with an apostrophe?

It takes time to update in backend. Also
When you are adding keywords in Negative section then dnt use entire keyword.
Just use "box" "gifts"
