Error trying to create a new product listing to replace a tombstoned product listing
Hello!
I'm wondering if anyone has ran into a similar situation or if anyone can be of help in this particular situation :)
Here is the backstory:
We are new to Amazon and are working on getting our store and brand registry set up. Our TM registered brand name is 'Fido's'. Earlier this month we created our first 2 product listings (ASIN's: B0CRPPYGTP and B0CRPPNTLD) under the brand name 'Fido's' and these product listings were incorrectly attached to another amazon store using the name 'Fido's'.
We spoke with amazon support about this and we were advised to delete the 2 product listings. So the product listings were deleted almost 48 hours ago.
We also had many discussions with seller support about our TM registered brand name being used and ended up reporting the infringement. Fortunately, that was fixed quite quickly and we are now able to use the business display name and brand name 'Fido's.
The problem that we are now having is that we are trying to create 2 new product listings to replace the ones that were deleted/tombstoned, but we are getting an 8541 error code. These new product listings have the same GTIN's as the previous 2 listings because they are the same products.
The 8541 error code is in regards to the Manufacturer field. On our previous 2 listings (the tombstoned listings) we had incorrectly used our brand name (Fido's) as the manufacturer instead of our company name (4PAWZWELLNESS LLC). So, on these new listings I wanted to correct that, but amazon is telling me that the manufacturer value needs to match the manufacturer value of the tombstoned ASIN's.
What can I do in this situation? Can I enter the old/incorrect manufacturer value (Fido's) just so that I am able to submit the product listings and then correct it later?
I'm also confused as to why the old ASIN's are being referenced, I thought tombstoned meant that they are permanently deleted. Am I unable to use GTIN's from a tombstoned listing in a new listing, even if they are my products?
Any help is so greatly appreciated! As I mentioned, we are new and I'm trying my best to learn this all.

I've had products I sell in the U.S. that are "tombstoned" in other countries when I try and add them. Couldn't get an answer and still trying to get one. Sorry can't be of help but going through the same thing.

I have a book in almost the same situation. I have opened the case, more than once, to no avail. (It is rare book but new enough to have an ISBN.) The only work around I can think of is getting a new GTIN and "restickering" the product. Perhaps someone else has come up with a better work-around??
