2-Step Verification Recovery
Hello Guys,
I've lost the phone number which I set as 2-step verification on my seller account, I tried to recover it via uploading my identity documents but when I was redirected to that page: https://www.amazon.co.uk/a/recover/upload and put my login details, a notification" Your account has been locked for misuse of Amazon’s services. We have sent you an email with additional information." is showing. I contacted Amazon buyer account support multiple times but they are not responding to me also contacted seller support but they are not getting me and sending this link again & and again to submit my identity documents.
Is there any other way to regain access to my seller account?

No problem. You go to your provider, buy a new mobile phone and a new SIM card with the exact same number you had before.
If this was NOT your phone you will never be able to "recover" a seller account you never owned. AND - this would be the reason for
So, if this is and was your phone number - no problem. If this is not and was not your phone number - no possibility to take control over that account.

Hello @Seller_tAIOVMVnIkCUz,
Thank you for reaching out. I wanted to highlight that @Seller_rI7BZIczK8iAChas provided some great guidance and resources to which I employ to you review. That being said, Instead of receiving a code on your phone via text or voice call each time you sign in to your seller account, you can use an authenticator app to generate your authentication code. Authenticator apps do not require phone service or an Internet connection to work, but must be downloaded to whatever device or PC you choose.
To download an authenticator app, go to the app store for your device or browse the Internet:
- If you're using an iOS or Android device, you can download Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator from your respective app store. If you prefer to use a different authenticator app, make sure that it supports TOTP-OATH (Time-based One-time Password Algorithm adopted by the Initiative for Open Authentication).
- If you're using a Windows PC, tablet, or device, search for "authenticator app" in the Windows Store.
- You can install programs that work with a USB security key. For more information, see Use a USB security key for Two-Step Verification.
- You can also download browser-based extensions or add-ons from the Internet.
You would also be able to do this with the same-device sign-up.
Please follow the method your fellow sellers and I have laid out for you. If you are still stuck, please reach back out and provided the case id numbers you have with seller support. I will be able to escalate.
Best of luck.
Cheers,
Micah
