Concerns Regarding Unintended GS1 Barcode Association and GTIN Exemption Removal

Hello there,

case #16655272991 @Glenn_Amazon@Cooper_Amazon@Michelle_Amazon@Michelle_Amazon@Blake_Amazon HELP!!

I am reaching out to seek assistance with a perplexing and complex issue I am currently facing. My brand has been incorrectly marked as having GS1-approved barcodes, which has resulted in my account being restricted to listing only GS1 barcodes. This is particularly concerning because I have not applied for or used any GS1 barcodes.

Here are the key points of my situation:

1. No GS1 Application: I have never applied for or obtained GS1 barcodes from the GS1 website.

2. Incorrect Brand Marking: My brand is being flagged as using GS1 barcodes, even though this is not the case.

3. Account Restrictions: Due to this incorrect association, my account is now restricted to listing only GS1 barcodes, and I have lost my GTIN exemption status.

4. Potential Brand Confusion: I suspect there might be a mix-up between my registered brand and another brand with a similar name, leading to this incorrect marking.

I need your help to investigate this matter and restore my account's GTIN exemption status. It is crucial for me to be able to list products without the requirement of GS1 barcodes, as my brand does not use them.

Thank you in advance for your assistance and support. I appreciate any insights or guidance that can help resolve this issue.

Hi there @Seller_4NSmE5dGA2kiU

I've reached out to a separate team to get some further support on this and see what background they can provide. In the meantime, I see support gave you a link to reapply through and I recommend doing that. If you receive another error, take a screenshot and send it back to them so they can continue investigating!
