Clarification on Allowed Platforms for Creator Content in Creator Connections

Hi everyone,

I’m currently running a few campaigns through Amazon’s Creator Connections program and had a quick question I was hoping the community (or Amazon support) could help clarify.

Are we allowed to ask creators to post content on external platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook in addition to posting on their Amazon Influencer Storefront or product pages?

I understand the main focus of Creator Connections is to drive traffic and conversions on Amazon, but I’d like to know if it’s within policy to encourage or request content on social media platforms, as long as it complements the promotion of the product via their Amazon links.

Any insight or official clarification would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance

Hi @Seller_4yjvTaAMxVgOJ,

Indy from Amazon jumping in here, nice to e-meet you!

I checked in with our internal team, and their guidance was that you can include that in the brief, but creators maintain editorial freedom when promoting these brands/products (which includes where they distribute the content). Brands cannot technically require content type or distribution.

We recommend that brands focus on providing guidance on their brand/products and allow the creators to do what they do best!

Linking the brand guide for the program if you find it useful as well.

Please let me know if you have additional questions. Here to help!

Best,

Indy
