account deactivated because I canceled orders that my supplier no longer had in stock

I had to cancel some orders and I had my inventory blocked, I canceled such orders for the simple reason that my supplier does not have the same quantities of batteries described in my ad, and for customers not to have a bad experience of receiving from another supplier that I do not know , I preferred to cancel, remove that product and put it back in my store when the supplier again has the same quantities of batteries described in my ad. Thanks for the alert, now I'm going to be smarter about the quantity of products I cancel, but If possible, activate my store again so I can work, I make a living from it today.

You don't understand. Sellers should list only items they have in stock.

If you are allowed to try again (IF) you need to do much better than that.

You have "learned" the wrong lesson.

The fault was not in canceling, the fault was putting yourself in the position where you had to cancel.

This is easy to prevent.

Do not list that which you do not have.

If you are drop shipping (which it sounds like) -- stop.

As the others note you have some BIG trouble and are unlikely to recover from it.

While the (probable) dropshipping is serious, the larger issue for me is the mere fact that you THOUGHT about sending the buyers items from a DIFFERENT supplier AND BRAND.

You certainly did not study ANYTHING in Seller U. On AMAZON (and every other site I am aware of) your items MUST MATCH what you show, right down to any UPC labels.

There are thousands of jobs available so you should start looking for one. Your days on Amazon are probably over due to YOUR negligence in not preparing to sell here properly.

"I'm going to be smarter about the quantity of products I cancel."

You need to be smarter about the products you sell, not the number you cancel. It's futile to argue about drop shipping with other sellers. Better to learn from their experiences. You're not in any position to educate others.

If Amazon believes you are listing items that you do not have in stock, then you probably won't be reactivated. However, you could try writing an apologetic message to Amazon, clearly accepting responsibility for your errors, and for the the fact that you did not adequately research and understand Amazon's seller policies. Ask for a second chance. It might work, but not if you write to Amazon with the attitude you convey here.

I would suggest you cancel your DOBA account. Very common for their suppliers to show way more inventory than they have in stock.

Yes, that's true. I am selling more than five years, always learning from the forum but I still have the impression to know just the basiscs! But I am amazed EVERY day, how new sellers are asking simple questions and NEVER thanking for the answer! What everyone is doing in "real" life - thanking for a small answer - doesn't apply to this forum!

I see you arguing that your account was suspended because of your cancelation rate.

So, you will probably have to write an appeal to Amazon with a Plan of Action of how you would make sure this NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN.

In a POA you need to keep if short. YOU need to be responsible, no blaming others.

1-Root Cause, Tell them exactly what you did wrong so they know you understand what you messed up. Short, use bullet points.

2- What you have done to make it right in the immediate sense (as in canceling the orders when you discovered that you indeed did not have the right product to ship.) Did you immediately zero out the quantity you have listed as available on the listing?

3- What Procedures are you implementing in your business practices that will ensure that you never list anything that you don't actually have available to ship?

FYI, if you are not physically in possession of the Items and you have not actually ALREADY PURCHASED them from the supplier before you list them, THAT IS DROP SHIPPING. There are ways to do drop shipping in accordance with Amazon Policy BUT, it sounds like in your case, your suppliers can't provide you with the constant up to date information you would need to be able to use them as a drop shipping supplier. Your inventory would need to be basically linked real time to their inventory supply for the exact products listed. SO This is probably not the way to go for you.

Or you could use Amazon's EASY way and just send product to FBA that you list since if you physically send it to FBA, then Amazon Knows that it is ACTUALLY AVAILABLE.

So since you have already seen something that sells. You might want to look into setting those listings up as FBA and Purchase from the supplier directly and send in a small quantity to FBA.

If that won't work, then I'm not sure what to tell you.

You have been told this already, but it NEEDS to "Sink-In" for you.

It is VERY simple to avoid this form occurring:

DO NOT LIST PRODUCTS FOR SALE UNTIL YOU PHYSICALLY RECEIVE THEM.

THAT is the ONLY lesson you should learn from you r experience. I would DEFINITELY include that PROMISE in my Plan of Action and appeal for reinstatement.

Good Luck!
