All My Prices Were Changed To $1 - Please Help!
I'm hoping a MOD can help escalate this case, as Seller Support has not been able to come to any resolution, even though they have admitted several times that they can see the issue is an internal error.
Long story short, we submitted a bulk file upload to update the sales pricing of several items. The file upload was successful and we visually confirmed that each of the price changes were made. However, later in the day those prices were suddenly all changed to $1 for a period of 15 minutes, after which they reverted back to the sale prices we submitted.
We discovered the error shortly after when we noticed that over 1000 units had been sold in such a short period of time. We immediately contacted Amazon about the error and have been working for the last two weeks to get it resolved. We tried getting Amazon to cancel the orders (FBA) but they refused, which resulted in a loss of 10's of thousands of dollars. Not only that, but the $1 price they sold for doesn't even cover the FBA/Selling/Storage fees that were associated with those items, so in addition to losing the product, we now OWE Amazon thousands of dollars in fees for making those sales.
So far, Seller Support's response has been that we made the change through the bulk upload file. We can clearly prove with the processing summary that $1 was not the price that was set, but they seem to ignore this.
If you have run into this situation and have any advice on how to proceed, we would love to hear your response. I've seen other Discussions in the forum and this seems to be happening a lot recently, but I haven't seen a resolution yet.
MODS - if there is anything you can do to help escalate the case, it would be much appreciated!

You may NEED an attorney for this one. Amazon isn't in the habit of taking responsibility. I see many brick walls you are about to run into.

I hope this gets worked out for you. I am going to have nightmares after reading this post. So sorry.

I'm sorry this has happened to you. I'm also sorry to say that Amazon will ultimately not take any responsibility.
We had this happen to us. Come to find out that Amazon updates the quantity before price.
Let's say we had a $500 item on our sheet previously for $1 for whatever reason. We upload the inventory sheet with the quantity and price updated to $500.
Amazon updated the quantity before the price. And even though you will have batch confirmations of what you uploaded and things like that the only advice they can give you is to put it on vacation mode in the future until your prices are correct.
So we have developed a program to let us know of price changes like this before we submit the upload sheet. The first day the item is available we update the price. Then the next day we upload the quantity.
This happened with FBA for you so pretty much going to be out of luck. I know it is a tough pill to swallow but that's what happened to us as well.
Since our orders were FBM we were able to cancel them and take the short term metrics hit and no money hit.

In our situation our price was, for example, $34.99. We created a sale price for 22.49. We visually confirmed that the price took effect (as in we saw that the sale price was active in manage inventory, as well as directly on the detail page). Later, for 15 minutes, the price suddenly reduced to $1, then reverted back to $22.49.
So, in this case it's hard to even believe that the bulk upload had anything to do with it, though support says it was the upload that resulted in the price change. The weird part is that we CONFIRMED that the correct prices were live, and the processing summary PROVES that the correct prices were entered, not $1. But the question remains...why did the prices suddenly change (and just as suddenly change back) and what can we do about it?

Haven't heard anything from a MOD so I'm just reaching out again, hoping to getting a response.
Are there any MODs out there that could help me with this case?

Use the Price & Quantity template to upload MAX & MIN prices so you can avoid future issues.
It's not just for "Automated Pricing". It's an extra set of security for Rogue pricing.

Why MOD is not responding here it been 3 days of this post and no MOD checked this post?
I'm just scared that if in future i have to face this issue then what happened to me? I will be bankrupt and will have no money for hire attorney. Because My products are jewelry and most of my products price start from above $600 and up to $10000.
Where is all MOD why you guys not responding to this post?

Absolutely no one should have to do this BUT I don't imagine that you took any screen grabs of the correct pricing that would show the time and date to prove the change was done properly, did you?
I know there should be historic information in the system showing when changes were made BUT since Amazon is in control of that AND we all know about all the stuff that gets done by 'insiders' I wouldn't trust them to provide the REAL data.
Being an Amazon seller means that we are NOT paranoid because (apparently) someone IS out to get us!

"which resulted in a loss of 10's of thousands of dollars".
That's the point. Since they were YOUR dollars that were lost, Amazon doesn't care, and the mods don't either.
