Provide consistent quantity information for your customers with size normalisation

To offer customers consistent product quantity information across stores, we standardise the size values on search and product detail pages.

Size normalisation helps customers compare products before buying, and we’ve found that listings with valid size values for quantity information are purchased more often.

Your listings show the size value a customer is familiar with based on their geographical location. Normalisation rules automatically extract data from catalogue attributes like unit count or unit count type, then construct the size into a standard format.

To change the size value for your product, go to Manage Inventory.

For more information, go to Size normalisation FAQ.

Bangle sizes are measured in inches (diameter of the bangle). And inch is not a metric measurement. Each inch is subdivided into 16 parts. So, Bangle size 2.8 means its diameter is two and a half inches. Bangle size 2.10 means it is one size bigger than 2.8.

But on Amazon whenever we tried to sell 2.10 size bangles, the Amazon size chart displays 2.10 first, then 2.2, then 2.4, 2.6, 2.8 etc. As 2.10 is displayed before 2.2 size, buyers think it is a smaller size than 2.2 and buy it for small or children size requirements. Then return it as too big.

I have written multiple times about this issue to seller support as well as talked about this to jewellery category managers whenever I got the opportunity. But nothing has been set right by Amazon till now. So, we stopped selling bangles on Amazon.

Hope someone in Amazon does understand the issue and sets it right.

2.2, 2.4, 2.6, 2.8, 2.10, 2.12, 2.14, 3 inches are bangle sizes in the correct order. Hope size normalisation considers this issue too.

It has been 2 weeks I’m trying to get weight of my product corrected in the title and product page nothing has been done. One end you order us to correct things on the other end your incompetent seller support never helps. All Amazon want is us to pay to Catalog team for listing . We have no access to correction of products we are selling . I tried correcting the same product on Meesho and Flipkart . It was done the same day on Meesho support and in 1 day by Flipkart support. With amazon seller support it has been 2 weeks no resolution .
