Amazon wants feedback lets give it to them.

Today marks the first day that I have had to start using Amazon's new Manage All Inventory Page. It is horrible. The dynamic display of inventory rows, means you can no longer search using ctrl-F (Find in page), which was useful for finding specifics ASINs out of a larger list than you were sorting by, I.E. The number of PC Sims games, it was much easier to search Sims, and then find in page the individuals that needed to be updated out of the 50+ results, instead of searching each item by their full name. The links that allowed quicker access to the available offers when checking prices for an SKU, by clicking on the Lowest Price information, GONE. An inability to jump to the bottom of the list using Ctrl+N, when you need to go to another page for larger inventory search results, over the amount displayed on a page, we have used 100, but the same can occur for 25, or 250. The list of useful features removed, and the general lack of any type of improvements is appalling. If Amazon wants to continue to break functionality for their new systems/layouts then let's give them the feedback they deserve.

If you run into any problems, or annoyances with the new designs of any system, or tool, let them know through their feedback system. If you see some positives let them know. They can try to ignore us, but if every user gave 5 feedbacks on these New systems and tools, Amazon would be flooded with feedback of all types. I think that feedback would be mostly negative, but let's see. I recommend any other sellers who see this forum post start doing the same where you can. Give Amazon the feedback they continue to claim to need. Let them see exactly what we think of these constant changes and issues that they cause with updating working systems every other year.

None of your fellow sellers are offended. We suspect that you are wasting your time, but would love to be proven wrong.

If some Amazon employees are offended, then maybe it will motivate them to fix this.

I once read on here what makes complete sense. Amazon is made up of lawyers , they know nothing about sales or sellers, at some point we have to believe amazon will eliminate every third party seller on here as they keep implementing changes to policies that they themselves do not oblige to. I do not know how many times I have bought amazon prime and have received expired products, but god pray a buyer falsely accuses a seller of expired goods and amazon will terminate their account within hours. If amazon wanted feedback they would have terrible metrics and be on the verge of termination based off their own policy. But obviously buyers nor sellers can give feedback to amazon. Feedback manger is outdated and broken, the automated responses nowadays let you appeal once before they close your case for good ignoring any facts or actual proof to pleade your case. Theses suits do not care about your store, they only care about margins, profits, etc.

It would be interesting to understand Amazon's long-term goals. Right now they are making the process harder and harder for sellers and simultaneously making their own sales easier for buyers. Individual sellers' items are now almost hidden behind click-levels, while Amazon items are highlighted above all of our offers.

Fifteen years ago, when I started selling, the policies and rules were far easier to understand and follow. Today it totally different. One false step, and you're toast. Some policies make no sense at all (demanding publisher's permission to sell used books). Seller support is a cruel joke. Forum topic comments are quickly shut down. Telephone support people can hardly speak English and have no authority to solve problems and carry feedback to higher levels.

I have filed dozens of cases and will continue to do so, but Amazon's responses are useless. Still, I urge all sellers to make complaints and file more cases to get more attention, even though this makes Amazon's job bigger and harder.

Old-time sellers continue to leave Amazon, and Amazon heavily promotes FBA: "ship your products to us, and we'll sell it for you (maybe, if it doesn't get lost or stolen). I'm convinced that's what Amazon wants--to have the game all to themselves and lose these pesky little sellers.

Amazon, am I right or wrong?

They got weeks of feedback, some of it quite detailed. They appeared to have ignored 95% of it, but made a few changes that only made the page more bloated and hard to use. That is exactly how they dealt with feedback on other badly designed pages and this forum itself. There is something very disturbing about a site that seems to have no process for fixing infrastructure that causes time waste and confusion that costs everyone money, including this site.

Amazon is not going to change anything. When has ever amazon reversed course on a change they made.

Among all the changes over the past 20 years this manage inventory change has been the worst change.

I appreciate your post. Sure, it may not net the results we want, and our experiences have proven that our feedback isn't usually met with improvements... But this is a start.

I've noticed that it's become even less efficient (similar to Send to Amazon), forcing sellers to take extra steps to try to figure out why Amazon deems some of our SKUs as "errors" on shipping plans.

We also would like to have them bring back the Bulk Action option for converting FBM to FBA. This seems frivolous, since uploading shipping plans via Send to Amazon inherently assumes that we intend to send the SKUs to Amazon. Of course, this is not how it works. We used to upload products via file, then click on the new SKUs and convert them in bulk. That option disappeared for reasons unknown.

I'm sure we'll have more feedback to follow.

Good morning @Seller_HN6IMoitIKcW6,

Thank you for taking the time to create this post, and for sharing your candid feedback related to the new Manage Inventory page. I also appreciate the additional feedback this thread has generated! The team responsible for creating the new Manage Inventory has been collecting seller anecdotes related to the new page, and continues to work on improvements. They also recently hosted an Ask Amazon event here on the forums where they answered questions related to the page, and requested additional feedback.

They continue to iterate on the page, and in the event that they host another Ask Amazon event I encourage you to jump into the thread with any additional points you may have! Best of luck to you.

I am sure they want our feedback. They have circular files that need to be filled. Like all other issues, just wait til the height of holiday season for a new change to be rolled out.
