Wheres my shipment?

I shipped a shipment on the 30th of October and it showed it was delivered but was never er checked in or received and now its closed.. seller support wants me to send them and invoice but why? Amazon is in possession of my shipment. I understand that a few items go missing whatever they usually show up. But the whole shipment? after showing delivered at the warehouse? what do I do?

Amazon requires both proof of inventory ownership and proof of delivery to be submitted when investigating missing FBA shipments.

Proof of inventory ownership: this will help identify any potential discrepancies that may have occurred. This is the invoice Seller Support is asking for.

If you use an invoice as the proof of inventory ownership, the following information must be provided:

  • Date of purchase
  • Product names matching the missing products
  • Quantity purchased

If you are the manufacturer, you can send a copy of the signed packing slip as proof of ownership. The packing slip must include the following information:

  • Packing list date
  • Shipment or purchase order ID
  • Product names of the missing items
  • Quantity shipped
  • Manufacturer signature or stamp

Proof of delivery: For LTL or FTL shipments, a bill of lading showing the number of boxes in the shipment and the total weight when it was picked up by the carrier. The document must be stamped by Amazon confirming that the shipment was received and signed for at the fulfillment center. Your carrier should have a copy of this document. This information helps verify that the entire shipment was picked up and shipped as expected.

You can read more about the reconciliation process here. Feel free to drop your Seller Support case ID here once you've uploaded your Proof of Ownership!
