Use of Honeycomb paper in Cushioning

Does Amazon permit the use of honeycomb paper for packing products (as the recommended 2 inches of cushioning in the Master Carton).

It specifies bubble wrap, full sheets of paper, inflatable air pillows and polythene foam sheeting. Re the paper, Amazon recommends Kraft heavy sheets of paper.

So I'm not sure if honeycomb paper is permitted.

Greetings @Seller_AFVJMGZdMe3WW,

Would this be for an FBA shipment? I haven't seen other conversations about using honeycomb paper, but my recommendation would be to first ensure you're packaging the inventory in such a way that it will survive the fulfillment journey undamaged. It may be that honeycomb paper will suffice, but always start from that perspective.

Additionally, do you have the source where you read this? I would like to review. Thank you!

Perfect, thanks for getting that to me! I was having trouble tracking that page down on Friday.

I intend to use it for the Amazon-recommended 2 inches of cushioning - in the item box and the Master Carton.

I will be using it for FBA. I guess the concern might be that bits of paper come off the honeycomb - but I don't know as I haven't used it before.

Thanks for your response.

I think so long as you're using the recommended 2 inches of cushioning while actively avoid the explicitly prohibited packing types (peanuts, etc), you should be in the clear. Are you able to do a smaller, test shipment as a trial?
