Where or how do I obtain product to sell?
I am new to this & trying to make something from nothing.
I am a US Army Veteran & my family deserves a yearly vacation.
I work a full time HVAC job & I am trying to learn how to use Amazon to help our family.
I do not understand where or how to obtain item to sell & ship from the manufacturer to the buyer.
Any & all help would greatly be appreciated.

Sounds like you are referring to drop shipping-if so, that is no longer an acceptable business practice on Amazon. Have you gone through Seller University? Read these forums. Do not listen to the You Tubers and Tik Tok. It's hard to find a manufacturer/brand that will do business with you unless you have a lot of capital.

You kinda have it backwards. The best way to approach online sales is to figure out what you want to sell first and then figure out how and where to sell it.
What product(s) do you know about and where to source them? Keep in mind, you are asking your potential competitors how to beat them at their own game. Sorry, but you are probably not going to get the help you are looking for.
Again, find a good product and then figure out how to sell it.

Firstly......Thank you for your service!
I know its not what you want to hear, but selling on Amazon is not a good side hustle anymore, unless you have a unique product to sell.
If you are asking where to find products, you might be hearing things that aren't true on You Tube. If its easy, they wouldn't need to have you subscribe to their page, or even have that page. They would just sell things themselves. They don't want to help you for free. They are doing it to make money, instead of just selling on Amazon themselves.
Try to do some of your own research, and if you can find something different to sell, then go for it. But if there are more then 5 pages of something, its most likely that item is saturated. I just hate seeing people waste their money on fees.
Good luck & thank you for keeping us safe.

Find a product type that interests you, hobby, sports, clothing...whatever you are into. That is step one. Then, open an Ebay account. That is step 2. Close your Amazon account and never look back, step 3.
After that, spend some time on google/Ebay/Facebook...... to find the product type you are interested in. Buy in bulk, sell at a profit, be honest with your descriptions, fair with your pricing and on task shipping orders.

Hi there @Seller_QEnrjlvAhIGWn,
Thank you for reaching out with you question. I highly advise taking the feedback from these experienced Sellers, determining what to Sell on Amazon or any digital store can be very difficult. If you do identify a product you think might be successful you can check out Amazon's Sourcing guidelines for insights into what Amazon expects.
And to all the sellers sharing your experience, thanks for your patience, kindness, and honesty. Have a great day.

Hey man. Thank you for your service. First, you won’t be able to sell just anything right away. You’ll be “gated” in certain categories and brands until you start getting sales in categories you are allowed to sell in first. I would recommend watching YouTube videos of other sellers. Search for things like “retail arbitrage” and “online arbitrage.” A lot of people have even started with used books to get their feet wet and the ball rolling. You can search YouTube for “selling books on Amazon” starting with these methods will really help you understand the basic ideas around how selling on Amazon works. Once you’ve gotten good at one way you can move to another way of sourcing. I and many other sellers started with books but it can be a bit of a slow crawl to get started. Start watching videos until you feel like you’re ready to take the next step which will be acquiring and listing your first item! Hopefully this was helpful. A lot of these other people’s replies seemed too pessimistic so I thought I’d throw my two cents in.
