On the top left click on the menu
Go to Advertising -> Promotions.
Locate the "Percentage Off" option and click on create right under it.
Set your specifics on your discount that you want to offer...such as what kind of percentage off and for which items.
Once you complete Step 1 and Step 2. In Step 3 you can set a "Single-use claim code". This will be the claim code you will give to that customer. Set the claim code that you want and write it down.
Once finished, you can click the yellow button at the bottom to review your details. Then you have to submit the discount.
I would wait 4 hours after submitting before telling the individual customer what the coupon code is.
