New seller account for the same brand

I would like to create a new Amazon seller account since I am incorporating a new C-Corp and a new company in the Indian marketplace.

The problem is that unlike in US account, legal entity details cannot be changed in Amazon India account. Hence If I open a new India account I am forced to open a new US account since I cannot delink my existing global accounts.

The new seller account I am planning to open will have a different legal entity, tax details, email, phone, and business name. I am planning to put the old account on vacation mode and use the new account to sell the same products as this one.

Am I allowed to open a new account with the new business details and sell the same products after putting this account on vacation mode?

I dont want to be in violation to the multiple seller account policy.

Please advise.

PS - I asked seller support and they said this should be fine as long as it's a new entity and I dont use the same email and contact details to register the new one. Here is the their reply:

"Yes, you can open a new account. Selling Partners who have a legitimate business need can operate multiple Selling Accounts and do not require Amazon’s approval. Amazon is no longer requiring sellers obtain approval for multiple selling accounts. However, Amazon recommends that you only open a second selling account if you have a legitimate business need and all of your current accounts are in good standing."

"If you are maintaining multiple account you just need to make sure all the accounts are in good standing. If any of your accounts are not in good standing, we may deactivate all of your selling accounts until all accounts are in good standing."

I need clarification from an Amazon moderator on this.
