Enhanced in-region product discoverability for fast delivery

We are excited to have completed the one-year milestone for the initiative aimed at improving customer and seller experiences on Amazon.in by enhancing in-region product discoverability.

Customers will see products available near them with fast delivery promises during their searches, which can significantly boost sales conversions for sellers. This initiative allows customers to find products within their zone, where customer PIN codes are mapped to one of the eight zones: BLR (Bengaluru, Karnataka), HRA (Delhi/Gurgaon, Haryana), BOM (Mumbai, Maharashtra), HYD (Hyderabad, Telangana), CHN (Chennai, Tamil Nadu), LKO (Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh), AMD (Ahmedabad, Gujarat) and KOL (Kolkata, West Bengal).

Customers will still have the option to explore all available selections by clicking Showing products near you, with fast delivery. See all products, across price ranges.

For sellers, this means improved visibility and discoverability of inventory placed closer to customers. The initiative covers select categories, as communicated over the past year.

In order to benefit from this initiative, you can continue to position your inventory closer to customers across these zones or use preferred fulfilment channels, including third-party logistics providers.

To place your inventory in zones that you are not present in, email us at golocal@amazon.com.

To know more about multi-location fulfilment under Easy Ship, reach out through the Seller Central help page: Help > Select issue as "Update account shipping settings" > Share details in the description section with 1) Entitlement (number of locations and states), 2) Selection Entitlement (additional selection), 3) Third-party integrator name.

For further assistance, you can check recommendations on the Restock Inventory dashboard under Inventory Planning on Seller Central, to improve availability of your products across India and save on fulfilment costs.

This seems not working properly. I had 1 state GST and selling from their FBA ealier. As amazon introduced go local, now I have total 7 state GSTs and inverntory available in state FBAs.

Unfortunately, no change in sales , it was as earlier with one state GST.

Sellers have to spend a lot for GST registration and with new GST rules, it is very difficult to get GST in any state. Lots of expences to get a gst with virtual address as well.

Hello amazon team,

You are thinking only for yourself... if this type of practice continues, then most of the sellers are stopping selling on the Amazon portal. After that, you can do region product discoverability.

my past sale was approx. 80000-100000 rs/day but after this worng practice my current sale is 2000-5000 only... if this stop then i quit from amazon..

be sure amazon will close this program ASAP; otherwise, amazon will stop all operation from india soon
