How do I get rid of shipping automation and shipping templates. how to opt out?
the automation of what i can ship, when I can ship it, and how I ship it with whatever carrier i choose at any given time is necessary for me to be successful...
How Amazon creates limits on what services I can use is abuse.
I may ship with USPS one day, FEDEX another day, UPS, another day.. even within those carriers some services like flat rate box or usps ground advantage constantly get greyed out.
If I have handling time already set in stone at the SKU level that should be enough for customers... amazon does not need to guess my delivery dates... if amazon wants to guess my delivery dates then it should do this formula (handling time + 3-5 business day)
heck just guess all of them at (handling time + 5 business days.)
works better if you lower their expectations and over-deliver
rather than amazon guessing a delivery time and messing with my late shipment rates..

If you want to turn off Automated Shipping Automation then Edit your shipping template & toggle it off.

Note if you do not like the options Amazon's Buy Shipping is providing - you do not have to use them.
You can buy shipping labels from where ever and use what shipper you want. You will just have to enter the tracking numbers into Amazon yourself so Amazon knows it's been Confirmed Shipped.
You can even upload a shipping confirmation file yourself here: We use it everyday

Also you can set your own handling times at the sku level in inventory management. this will override any Amazon global setting.
