Disbursements
I am sure I am not the only one.. but the new Amazon disbursement policy is all but slowly killing my business. At present I'm struggling to pay suppliers etc as cashflow is slowed. Amazon is currently holding tens of thousands on my account and if it wasnt for daily payments from my Shopify and eBay stores I would probably have to think about closing.
As a small business I don't know where this leaves me :(

The new EDD+7 disbursement policy (affecting sellers with accounts created prior to 2016) has not come into force yet - the will happen wef 31st January 2024.
Seller accounts created after 2016 have always had the EDD+7 disbursement policy, so I am not sure what you mean by the "new Amazon disbursement policy"?

We understand this change may have caused a one-time cash flow issue for your business. If you are concerned about the impact this transition has had, please contact us at payments-investigate@amazon.co.uk and we'll evaluate available options to help you, including a transition extension to 31 January 2024.
Might be an option for you? My account is a prior 2016 account and still have been affected, but you have to request this to be delayed I believe.

Are you using the disburse daily option? Or are you waiting the full 2-3 weeks?
We had the same challenge when we joined Amazon, but the daily disbursement helps with cashflow, but still not ideal as it is only paid 7 days after delivery. However they don't make obvious that daily is an option.
