0 Sales on Amazon FBA After 10 months

Hi all,

I’m new to Amazon FBA and listed my products about 300 days ago. Since then, I’ve paid for monthly fees, storage fees, and other related costs, and made 0 sales in 10 months.

In fact, I’ve only had 3 sales — one was a personal purchase to test the system, and the other two were from my parents and a friend. With all the fees I’ve paid, I’m now in the hole for hundreds or even thousands of dollars.

I’ve tried reaching out to Amazon’s support team several times, but I haven’t found them to be helpful. During calls with customer support, they’ve randomly stopped talking, and I had to call back, only to end up with silence again.

Now, I’m struggling to afford the extremely high storage fees and am considering closing my account. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated!

wow...I hope NOT ONE of those 3 left either seller feedback, nor product reviews, because that will solve your problem of no sales quickly.

Hello @Seller_I30ybB1wwHBEC- and thanks so much for posting!

There are a variety of factors which might influence sales trends, including the product categories you are in, the contents of your detail pages, your number of reviews, the feedback present on your seller account, and your advertising strategies, among many others!

I'd recommend taking the time to review the resources in this recent post from the forums team on Resources for boosting sales in 2025, and this post, which includes resources on optimizing product pages and campaign strategies!

I hope this content proves helpful, and thank you again for taking the time to check in with us here on the forums.

Best regards,

Danny

How did you wait until now, when your inventory is aged 300 days, to realize there was a problem? Did you study SEO, advertising, organic rank? It seems to me you did very little research, then forgot about it, thinking this is a passive business. It is not. It requires constant learning and is a highly competitive marketplace.

BTW those fees are going to rise exponentially, which you don't seem to realize either. Your best bet is to liquidate as quickly as possible, or Amazons fees will keep rising on you. The time to solve this issue, was 299 days ago. But, the longer you wait to solve it, the more painful it will become.
