First AGL Shipment from China - EXW - Export Customs Clearance Docs

Scheduled my first AGL shipment from my China supplier. The goods were picked up by AGL but now they need me to fill out the Exports Customs Declaration. Had to ask my supplier to help with filling out but should this have been the responsibility of AGL?

This is an EXW shipment, are the export documentations necessary since it sounds like from my AGL account manager that it is not needed (they are checking for an answer).

This was just a surprised since this wasn't mentioned anywhere and the form is in Chinese so I was not able to fill it out. My supplier did help me this time but I don't know if this will be the case next time.

Seeing if anyone has some clarification or recommendation on this. Is the export declaration required for EXW? And if it is, do you typically have the supplier help with it?
