General Liability Insurance - "The insured name mentioned on your insurance policy does not match the legal entity."

Hello,

I recently submitted our commercial liability insurance policy to Amazon, but it was rejected with the following reason:

"The insured name mentioned on your insurance policy does not match the legal entity."

On Amazon, our legal entity is listed as the company that owns the single-member LLC under which we sell on Amazon and under which the insurance policy was issued. Since we reside in and pay income taxes in the Netherlands, we had to register our Dutch company as the legal entity for tax purposes. We are not sure which name should be on insured name on the policy certificate, since Amazon won’t verify it if only name of the LLC name is stated on the policy.

Could you please advise or any necessary adjustments to align with Amazon’s requirements?

Any assistance and guidance on this matter would be highly appreciated.

Your insurance paperwork must show the registered account holder as insured, or "additional insured"
