Amazon.Found SKU's created on my account
I noticed new listings in my account that have my ASINs, but the SKUs are different and start with "Amazon.Found." It seems like Amazon is creating these listings. Now, I’ve noticed that replenishments from AWD are blocked for the ASINs that had duplicates created with different SKUs. Obviously, there’s something going on with Amazon’s process, but I tried chatting with Amazon Seller Support, and OMG, they are clueless... Has anyone else experienced something similar?

Did you mean to say "my SKUs" and "ASINS are different" ?
TTBOK, Amazon does not screw with a seller's SKUs, but they do attempt to 'correct' ASINs with far greater frequency than the intelligence of their computers or employees can justify.

I experienced this same thing this morning. I talked with a specialist and got this response.
Regarding your query, please be informed that "Amazon.Found" in the SKU indicates that this is inventory that was previously mislabeled and has now been assigned back to the seller. The ASIN previously mislabeled and has now been assigned back to you. If you will not taking action on "Amazon.Found" SKUs could result in inventory remaining stranded and unsellable. Stranded items could eventually be removed from fulfillment centers based on the seller's auto-removal settings for stranded inventory in the Stranded Inventory page.

i have this too. Had it happen last night. Got a notification of a listing created. I already had 2000 plus in there. Weird.

I believe this is something new. I have no idea why Amazon creates a new offer for an existing ASIN. Why not just assign to the existing SKU just like it has been doing for decades. So weird...

These are your product that they have found that they can not attritube to a sku/fnsku. You can remove it or just sell it under that sku until sold out.

My problem is that the Amazon.found sku conflicts with the existing listing. They just didn't assign it to the right product. Now I can't send to my existing FNSKU which is tied to an active ASIN. They also somehow changed the packing format so now I cant send inventory to my historically good FNSKUs.
Can a mod please shed some light, I have 3 support cases going for 3 of this error, they all give different recommendations.
1st was to delete the amazon.found sku, which I tried mutlile times but it was never removed.
2nd they said they will escalate as this is an usual issue (never heard back been a few days, have a feeling they will close case when Im off on the weekend)
3rd was to create a removal order and then delete
I tried to create a listing from the fix stranded inventory page, it didnt change the status even though the listing was created for the amazon.found.sku

Never heard of Amazon.Found
How can you find out if ASIN's/SKU's are duplicated under this?
Seller_q3EURxxduvmtU
It looks like Amazon is now deleting the Amazon.Found SKUs and stranding the inventory (at least for me). I wasn't able to create an FBA shipment because of the stranded inventory but if I do a removal I was able to continue. This seems like a very roundabout way of resolving an issue...but not surprised 'shrugs'.

Hello @Seller_0XqrqFWrXFKdw,
Thanks for posting regarding this issue. As your fellow sellers have stated, the Inventory Ledger report page goes over the details of this SKU type. You will see your product being found as merchant SKU “Amazon.Found.Bxxxxxxxxx” when your product is not labeled correctly it is received as non-labeled inventory for the same ASIN, with merchant SKU as Amazon.Found.Bxxxxxxxxx. Or, if you ship a different product than what we expected to receive and it is not the same ASIN, the received product is assigned to you as merchant SKU Amazon.Found.Bxxxxxxxxx.
These merchant SKUs are created so that your product can be assigned back to your account. Since these are your products, you can sell them to customers by creating an offer listing for the Amazon.Found.Bxxxxxxxxx merchant SKU. These products will appear in Stranded inventory report if you do not have an active listing for Amazon.Found.Bxxxxxxxxx. If you create a listing for the Amazon.Found.Bxxxxxxxxx merchant SKU, your inventory for this merchant SKU will be subject to virtual tracking. Rest of your labeled inventory is not affected.
I hope this info helps.
Regards,
- Manny
