Thinking of registering transparent programn but need to clarify some questions
As a few of my listings have been hijacked by scam sellers for a few months now, I think the transparent program might be my last hope. Didn't know this was a thing until today though.
I currently still have some inventory in the Amazon FBA, can I request Amazon to apply the transparency code if I enroll the ASINs?
What happens if I enroll the ASINs and my products that are in the Amazon FBA don't have the transparency code?
Can I select which country to enroll in? or does it need to be a whole global market?
For those who have enrolled in this program, does this work for preventing scam sellers?
Thanks!

Hello @Seller_zxIwK2VkhsXEq,
Dougal here and each of your questions are addressed in at least 1 of the following resources (As well as any secondary questions that you will most likely have):
- Transparency overview
- Transparency FAQ's
- Introduction to Transparency - there are 6 other Seller University videos that walk through every step of the process
For ease, here are the responses to your specific questions:
No, Transparency codes are applied at manufacturing so there is no "over labeling," that would take place in an FC. But, there is a sell-through period where current inventory will be shipped our until a set cut-off date.
Similar answer as above, there is a sell-through period. Also, full implementation does take some time as you will see when reviewing the resources above so, while you are going through the enrollment process your current inventory will continue to be sold and shipped.
No, this is a global program, but you only enroll 1 time for global coverage. You do not have to enroll in each store you sell in.
I hope this helps and please let me know if you have any other questions.
Best, Dougal
