Assistance Needed for Shilajit Resin Dietary Supplement Launch – COA and Documentation Clarification

Dear Amazon Compliance Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am preparing to launch a Shilajit resin dietary supplement on Amazon.com under my brand, and I need some clarification regarding the required documentation—particularly the Certificate of Analysis (COA).

I have reviewed the compliance guidelines but need assistance with the following questions:

Is it mandatory to obtain the COA through Amazon Compliance Services, or can I source it independently from a third-party lab?

If I obtain the COA independently, will a COA from Eurofins India be accepted by Amazon, or is a COA from Eurofins USA specifically required?

Would a COA from another ISO-certified lab in India also be valid and acceptable for compliance?

As I am based in India and will be exporting this product to the U.S. via Amazon FBA, your guidance on acceptable COA sources and documentation requirements is highly appreciated to ensure full compliance.

Thank you in advance for your support and clarification.

Hello @Seller_mk6GX3m0tR28P,

Thanks for reaching out. As part of our ongoing efforts to provide the best possible customer experience, Amazon has implemented additional restrictions for ingestible supplement products. Unfortunately, we are not accepting applications for supplements at this time. You are welcome to check back later to see if the category is accepting applications in the future. If it does open up in the future, you would need to be able to meet all the requirements listed here.

I know this is not the outcome that you were hoping for, but I thank you for your understanding.

Regards,

Michelle
