Amazon lost my inventory and refuse to reimburse us!

Hello Team!

I have sent shipment (one package to be exact) a month ago, part of the inventory lost while others are received.

Inventory ledger shows these lost inventory were received on 11/14. I am very clear the last status of these lost inventory is at "FC Processing", then they disappear.

Created a case which was handled by "Merchant Inbound Coaching Team", and I also send proof the inventory was actually shipped and lost at the warehouse. After investigation, this team insist "the problem listing will remain on my shipment", and ask me to create another case with "Missing From Inbound" team.

So am I suppose to create another case with "Missing From Inbound" team? even inventory ledger shows warehouse received it? What should I do?

ID 14404191081

Thank you team!

Hope to find some justice here in the community.

The following is how I show my proof of shipment.

I have reported lost of 29 inventory, each weighted 5oz, for about 9 lb in total.

This shipped package weighted 28lb shown in attached shipping label.

All other received inventory in the same package weighted 15.4 lB without packing materials. (Please see attached excel sheet); each package weight reported can be verify on amazon seller central Product Details under Package Weight.

15.4+9=24.4 lb. Packing materials plus UPS round up is approximately 3 lb.

Hi @Seller_oupwive05mS0C,

Dominic from Amazon here, happy to help.

Even though an item is being shown as received in the inventory ledger this does not necessarily mean the item has been fully unpacked and all the units accounted for. If a box is intending to be transferred to another FC we will scan that box and send it through the system without unpacking it. When the item is received at its final destination FC that is when the units are unpacked and Sellers can reconcile their shipment.

Please create another case, reference the shipment ID and please provide the following:

Proof of inventory ownership including the date of purchase/packing, product names, and quantity such as

  • a signed packing slip if you are the manufacturer with the shipment or purchase order ID
  • an invoice from a supplier including the full name and address of the invoice issuer and of the purchaser

Proof of delivery, which, for LTL or FTL shipments, will be the bill of lading showing

  • the number of boxes in the shipment
  • the total weight when picked up by the carrier
  • an Amazon stamp confirming the shipment was received and signed for at the fulfillment center

Best,

Dominic
