Sales Dashboard report showing a completely different number from Date Range Report

Hey guys, sorry if this may seem like a dumb question to most of you but I'm stuck scratching my head here. My Sales Dashboard report under the Business Reports shows a vastly different number than my Custom Date Range report I generated for the exact same date range. The number is off by thousands. Can anyone explain why this is and which one is more accurate to look at for monthly sales? The only thing I can guess is that the Sales Dashboard report is counting pending orders or orders received in in that specific date range that were shipped a few days after whereas the custom generated report is only showing me orders actually shipped in the specific range which is why it's a lower number.

I'd really appreciate any help here as I'm trying to figure out how to accurately determine monthly sales and expenses. Thanks!

Hi @Seller_vH0yGlrQfGVXM, I apologize for being late here. Were you able to determine the cause for discrepancy?

Are you looking at all orders?
