Fire at local UPS Hub destroyed our FBA Shipments - please help reimburse
We shipped a good number of boxes to FBA via UPS. The driver picked up as usual, and we have video of the pickup. Unfortunately, a fire broke out at the UPS hub and UPS has confirmed that it destroyed our boxes (this is even shown on the tracking information). We have been in communication with UPS Corporate and they have asked us to get reimbursed through Amazon and they say Amazon is familiar with the situation. I just opened a number of cases today seeking reimbursement for the shipments involved. I understand that another seller on this forum had the same situation and her shipments are being reimbursed thanks to @Dominic_Amazonand the wonderful folks from the internal team. Dominic, if you guys could take over my cases as well, I would be eternally grateful. Please and thank you!

Dumb question on my part probably... why is Amazon reimbursing you for something they never had in their possession? Why wouldn't UPS insurance compensate you?
