Bank Account Holder Name Does Not Match and I can't change it.

Bank Account Holder Name is showing wrong name, which caused my account to be deactivated due to non-compliance with inform act. I need help. I can submit the bank account verification because the bank account holder name that is prepopulated does not match my business bank account name or personal bank account name.

Not sure why you have a bank account that does not have your actual name on it. Seems Amazon thinks the same way.

The simple solution would be to open a new bank account that matches your business name and the Amazon Account name. Then 1. Wait until a new statement arrives, 2. Cancel the account already submitted, 3. Add the new account information.

That should work, unless there is more to the story.

Have the bank either add the name that Amazon thinks it is or you'll have to register a bank account name with the entity you provided Amazon.

I had the same issue. Contact Support. They fixed it for me. They listed my personal name (which was never on the bank account until they did the verification in June) It has always been my business name. Support fixed it and all is good.

You'll need an account that matches the name Amazon has. It does not have to be the account into which your funds are deposited, just an account that exists and matches the same name.

Show Amazon you are the owner of the registered business name and you should be ok. If you can't show that you own the business, then what is going on?
