New Amazon Shipping Rules
I shipped a package out on time USING amazon buy shipping. The package was delivered one day late by UPS. This is now counting against my OTDR? Is that the new update Amazon has put into place or?

It looks like they just introduced this. This used to ding only SFP orders (no matter what happened - it's always sellers' fault). Now, it appears to apply for all types of orders, starting July 25. Here is what I see when I go to Account Health and then to Shipping Performance / On-Time Delivery Rate:
"Note: As of July 25, 2024, we have made updates to the definition of On-Time Delivery Rate.
On-Time Delivery Rate without promise extensions: Percentage of seller-fulfilled items delivered to customers on or before the "Deliver by" date viewable on each order in Seller Central. The "Deliver by" date is calculated using your configured delivery time prior to the addition of promise extensions. An OTDR below 90% may result in account deactivation.
Promise extensions: The additional time that Amazon may add to your configured promised delivery date to account for logistical factors that might delay a delivery. Examples include extreme weather, transportation network constraints, or recent history of delivering after the delivery date without promise extensions. When a promise extension is added, the promised delivery date that customers see is later than the "Deliver by" date that you will see in Seller Central. "
Unfortunately, a similar language is used in SFP metrics, but they never account for extreme weather, network constraints. The only time they did was two weeks ago when Microsoft bug hit all Windows-based computers. And they did it in such way that the metric is still low, but they say they won't send performance notices or account for those days against sellers.
In short, now everything is sellers' fault:
-Buyer is not available on the day of delivery - it's your fault
-Bad Weather - your fault
-Truck broke down, aircraft flight delayed, carrier staff messed up - your fault
-Customer refused the delivery - your fault
-Etc, etc, etc.

Hello @Seller_8WD90AQIKKxcQ,
This is Josh from Amazon. Thank you for contacting our Forums!
I understand about the situation you are experiencing with this order that was shipped using Amazon Buy Shipping, which was delivered one day late by UPS, and its counting against your OTDR.
On the help page Amazon Buy Shipping protections, it mentions the following:
"For OTDR Protection: If you purchase a shipping label with the "OTDR Protected" badge in Amazon Buy Shipping and used Automated Handling Time (AHT) and Shipping Settings Automation (SSA), your OTDR will not be negatively impacted by late deliveries.."
If the scenario you faced falls into the above policy, may I ask if you already contacted our Seller Support team and created a case? If so, please give me the case ID so I can look further, if not, you need to create a case so our Support team can help you further, explaining in detail about the order and the policy I shared with you.
I will make sure to leave this thread open so you can reply to me.
Kind regards,
-Josh
