Do I need to create a listing before to get a brand registry?
The product hasn't been launched. It is still in a making process at a factory. My plan is to get the brand registry right before selling on amazon so that I can use Vine reviewer program at the time of product launching. Is this a good plan?What are the first steps for a new brand name and product?

-2. I have consulted with a trademark attorney. I don't have a product yet. I have to file as an" intent to use" for the brandname and once the product comes out I have to convert to an" in use" later with extra. 100 usd. Will amazon brand registry accept the "intent to use" statement for the brandname?
- 3. Should I wait until all the product is complete and ready to be launched before filing for a trademark? So that I don't have to spend extra 100 usd to convert it as " in use" for the brandname later?Thank you

-> It is not mandatory to create a listing before getting brand registered. Some sellers will wait until they are brand registered to start listing their product.

-> The intent to use statement will not impact enrollment as long as the TM status remains acceptable.

-> This depends on your business, timing, and applications so ultimately it is up to the brand owner. At times, brand will ask for a video verification to some sellers asking them to show pictures of the product. In this case, it is better to have your products complete and ready to sell.
However, the above is only to a few sellers and not applicable to all. Some sellers will file for Brand registry first and list once their complete product is ready. When doing so, sellers will have to make sure there are no changes to the product or brand name to what was submitted through the application.
