Prime Day deals cancelled for no reason

Hello,

I logged in today to check my upcoming Prime Day deals and I saw that 3 of them were cancelled. I didn’t receive any warning or notification from Amazon on any of these. Did this happen to anyone else? Is there any way we can get it back live? As you can imagine is not ideal 1 week before the event. Is there anything I can do? Thanks.

Is it a Lightning Deal. If it is, ‘Amazon reserves the right to reject or discontinue any proposed Lightning Deal.’ so there isn’t a lot you can do.

We did a load once, at a point where they allowed them on none Prime listings - they rejected all of them, again, not long before they were due to run. I assume they only have so many slots, over book the slots then remove ones they feel will generate fewer sales?

They were indeed Lightning deals but they were some of our good selling products.

Unfortunately they are completely at amazon discretion if they run your lighting deal or not.

I can only assume what gets picked is based on sales data known to amazon, but who knows?

Perhaps use the money it would have cost to run a voucher/PPC campaign?
