account level reserve

am i the only one who has just about everything held in account level reserve. receiving only 8% of the money i am owed this cycle.

i understand holding some money in the case of chargebacks, but they are holding crazy amounts of money in reserve.

is there any way to get out of that?

PS. Seller rating healthy, no violations, and been a seller for a while

Awhile? Six years or more?

The account reserve never truly goes away. As a seller of nearly 15 years I can say that we still have one, even though it is a small percentage and is typically related only to pending A to Z claims and pending chargebacks.

If your sales have been increasing lately, at least in dollar amounts, the reserve will grow.

Good Evening @Seller_PTlxYn4jL0UAO, I wanted to follow up with you regarding your question over account level reserves. HERE is a Seller Central support page. I wanted to call out a few pieces of info from the page that you may find helpful below:

What is account level reserve and where do you find it?

It is a normal part of selling on Amazon to see funds in the account level reserve on your Payments report. If you have funds in reserves, it will appear in the Account level reserve section of the Statement View tab on your Payments report.

Common reasons for an account level reserve

  • You are subject to delivery-date based reserves
  • You have open A-to-z Guarantee claims
  • One or more of your orders has received a chargeback
  • Your seller performance has fallen below our benchmarks
  • Your account is under review
  • Local regulations require us to withhold income tax from you (varies by store)

Please let us know on this discussion if you require additional assistance or you can always contact Selling Partner Support with inquiries at anytime. Thank you for checking in with us on the Seller Forums and for choosing to sell on Amazon. Have a great rest of the week! ~ Cooper_Amazon
