Amazon fees for selling Mobile cases is 24% above 300 which is very high . We as seller have to bear shipping charges /fixed fees, taxes & returns and much more. The fee of 24% is totally unbearable , we as a seller atleast need to earn 20% but in the end we’re left with nothing , the way fee structure of amazon is totally unacceptable . We as a seller should raise our voice against the high commission fee . what can be done to make sure amazon get back to the 16% of fee

Amazon & Flipkart like companies sell thier own product like "Amazon basics " & “Flipkart smartbuy”. Now to remove competetion they charged higher to sellers so that any how seller could not compete with Aamzon & flipkart.
Many times they sold thier products in losses to increase TRP of website. And to recover losses they manage though commission charged to sellers.
Actually seeing all marketplaces i understand 1 thing, Flipkart & Amazon using sellers as a tool to show maximum variery of product and by which they can sell their products at low rates.
If it happens like this sellers will not earn profits on online selling. Both Amazon & Wallmart (Flipkart) Compnies drinking sellers blood,

Every sellers sell products in loss. No one sellers know Amazon charging 24% commission.
Every sell wants high movement of selling product. but do not know what they earned after many efforts.
We are the servant of Market Places.
Only Indian Government can help in this. A law should be implement against Market places for Comission and other charges.

It’s quite true and a sad state of affairs.
We all are fighting for 20% selling space because 80% is already occupied by Cloudtail, Appario and other Amazon brands like Solimo and Basics.
In that 20% we fight amongst ourselves to get the Buy Now button by reducing prices everyday. We may get good orders, but overall we sell at a loss because apart from 24% commission there are so many other charges like pick and pack fee, technology fee, weight handling fee, shipping charges, then 18% GST on all these. Add to this the return charges by Amazon and advertising expenses. If you carefully sit down and calculate your purchase costs and expenses, if you are purchasing a cover for Rs. 100, there is no way you can make any profit on it unless you sell it for Rs. 450 or Rs. 500.
Most sellers do not realize this until it is too late for them and they are gripped under severe loans.
Amazon is a system, devoid of emotions and it does what it does. It doesn’t force us to price our products lower or sell at a loss. Problem is us who in our greed to sell more and more end up selling at losses and destroying our lives.

Amazon just want to cover up their losses from honest seller. They have changed my product into wrong category without any intimation and started to charge 20% commission. Since, last 7 days, two case are pending and now they are not bothered to even reply when I am asking for update. Its very frustrating.

amazon want to compete with rivals means please do it with your products. amazon rule us by ordering to sell cases at 299 indirectly by increase the commission + 18 % gst .they think we bought mobile accessories for 5 rupees or 1 rupee.amazon india we are also hard to get the lowest amount at the time of procure.

From my experience I started Selling on amazon TO SELL ONLY ON AMAZON meaning I did my product research on basis of what I can sell on amazon at good margin, my point being most sellers here already have shops and store and now they simply list there products online and expect to make a sale which is impossible, especially for things like cover case which we all know is easily available next to our houses for 100-150 rupee making it a high competition product with low margins unless you are manufacturing it. hence not a good amazon product. We have to understand EVERY PRODUCT is not AMAZON PRODUCT (Not feasible). ITs better if we start doing product research solely to sell on amazon.
