How to calculate total inventory?

Hi everyone. I have a problem calculating inventory left. Can someone here teach me? My last week vs this week inventory always have an excess or deficit for some reason. So far I have been using:

- Manage FBA inventory Report and using afn-total-inventory as my number. Is this the wrong number to use?

- All Orders Report as my total orders sold during that week. There are shipped, unshipped, cancelled. Should I use them all as the total ordered, or just shipped?

Thank you everyone in advanced for your help.

" afn-total-quantity" is The total number of units that you have for an SKU in a shipment to fulfillment centers or in fulfillment centers: (afn-total-quantity) = (afn-warehouse-quantity) + (afn-inbound-working-quantity) + (afn-inbound-shipped-quantity) + (afn-inbound-receiving-quantity). I wonder if the discrepancy you're seeing is due to any number of units you have still in the receiving phase.

This report includes recent orders regardless of whether they have been shipped. Both FBA and seller-fulfilled orders are included enabling you to monitor and analyze demand across fulfillment and sales channels.

To answer your original question, you might want to check out the Amazon Fulfilled Inventory report which shows a near real-time snapshot of your inventory in our fulfillment centers at the time the report is generated. Specifically the "quantity-available" header.

Please let me know if you have any other thoughts or questions!
