Does Amazon support scammers ?
A customer falsely claimed we sent a used drill, left a negative review, and then returned a completely different product (which we have never sold) to receive a full refund through Amazon’s system.
We have:
- Reported the fraudulent customer (no action taken).
- Requested feedback removal (denied).
This is clear fraud, yet we keep receiving only automated responses. Please remove the false review and protect our business from further harm. Please remove the false negative review rather than another automated response, as we are exhausted from receiving unhelpful generic replies. There must be a way to address such blatant fraud, and we trust that Amazon values fairness and seller protection.
Please escalate this issue for a fair resolution.

Not sure what is going on, there may have been a viral IG, FB, or Tik-Tok post recently teaching consumers how to game the system. Our return fraud is WAY up the past few weeks.
Hope you can get this removed, we are all going through things like this right now, something needs to change.

Because its profitable for Amazon.
They support sellers who they know are scamming their customers, some might even say conspire with the sellers. Amazon takes the money, allows the scam, ships the order, support it ? Amazon enables it.

I've always felt that Amazon seems to believe two things..
1) every person who orders from Amazon is a perfectly honorable and wonderfully moral, ethical person who would never do wrong and is beyond reproach.
2) every seller is a sadistic, cheating, lying criminal who is trying to take advantage of Amazon's customers.

of course. The sellers wo been here for years can tell u best. I speak on just personal experience. But yes. They see things going on, they see we have proof and are persistent but many times they turn the other cheek. Amazon supports customer fraud. They dont stop it. They allow it to continue with zero consequences for the customer. Protect yourself. Once I had my account hacked because my password was compromised some how. Customers lie to get free things, free refunds, etc. Amazon does not care for sellers anymore. It's reality.

Yes Scamazon supports fraud and scammers. We shipped a product to an Amazon customer FBM on a Friday. The following Monday the customer claims the box was empty and received a full refund. We thought this was odd and unusual to go from the west coast to the east coast, in such a short period of time (3-days). Especially since the customer didn't pay for any fast shipping.
So we tracked the package and put in a seller claim Monday night. We argued with Scamazon for 3 more days, sending them proof and documentation, until we found out it was delivered the following Thursday. We tried to get proof of the scammers claim, NOTHING.
So, the short answer is YES, Scamazon is highly flawed in many ways, with scammers and fraud !!!
Luckly we only lost $60 that time, Yet we have lost more in other FBA incidents.
My advice is remove of all your inventory out their warehouses ASAP and sell on eBay.

YEP, me too.
Amazon very careless to allow this.

absolutely, sabotaging sellers business is what they love to do. they will randomly change the category and blame it on seller and send policy violation warning and threaten to suspend the selling account.
classic way of amazon, leave amazon or stay and bear the heavy loss caused by amzon.

There has been TikTok videos lately teaching the public to do this. Truly sickens me and has gotten very excessive with our business as well. In general AMZ has not helped 100% of the time but when we file a claim with the words "switcheroo" we have had moderate success.
