Does Amazon support scammers ?
A customer falsely claimed we sent a used drill, left a negative review, and then returned a completely different product (which we have never sold) to receive a full refund through Amazon’s system.
We have:
- Reported the fraudulent customer (no action taken).
- Requested feedback removal (denied).
This is clear fraud, yet we keep receiving only automated responses. Please remove the false review and protect our business from further harm. Please remove the false negative review rather than another automated response, as we are exhausted from receiving unhelpful generic replies. There must be a way to address such blatant fraud, and we trust that Amazon values fairness and seller protection.
Please escalate this issue for a fair resolution.

did you seek reimbursement from Amazon for this order?
If it was FBA, you would open a seller support ticket.
If it was self-fulfilled by you, you should file a safe-T claim.

Amazon does not support customer fraud. What Amazon must do is provide a safe place for people to buy things. The big brains when deciding who should take the responsibility in the case of suspected abuse made it that it will fall on to the seller. These rules were pioneered through ebay and the likes. So here is my word of advise. Scale up. If one bad experience is going to get you this bugged maybe rethink your business model. You did your part. You reported the situation to amazons team. Even if you did not like what they responded amazon is very good at picking up patterns, If you understood that good for you. Anyway just move on. If you cant then you wont be around long anyway. But, If you can you may surprise yourself at what amazon can be.
anyway good luck

Let's face it AMAZON SUCKS, STEALS and promotes FRAUD! (How long will it take to have this freedom of speech, i.e. THE TRUTH, removed?).
Of course it's still my bad', since I have been selling here since 2004, and still continue to do so, even though I am all too well experienced with all the changes that negatively effect all Sellers, especially the FBM!
I have taken down about 100 of my Listings, moved to the other online selling Venues that know how to do Customer and Seller Support properly and fairly!
Amazon has all those 'online courses' they say we all should view, when AMAZON themselves oughtta watch how (almost) every other Company in the entire WORLD does Customer/Seller Support correctly.
Hey Amazon go watch some eB.y videos and learn a few things!

It has been this way for a long while now

I dont know if they outright support them but fraud is certainly almost encouraged at the expense of the seller.

We had a customer take a Lego set out of the box we shipped it in, put an empty Lego box (that wasn't even the item we shipped nor do we sell that item) and they were reimbursed by Amazon. Clear fraud. If customers know they can get away with it then they will continue to do so.
Sorry that happened.

Does Amazon support scammers ?
Well....yeah.... And you paid fees to have it done, too.

I've reported several scam issues to Amazon and received "off-the-wall" answers that pertained to nothing about my request.
I'm a new seller and will not restock my inventory. When it's gone, I'm out. I truly think a person would benefit more from working at a fast food restaurant than selling here. At least that would be less of a headache.

As long as there's thousands of sellers willing to put up with this behavior from Amazon and their customers, they are going to keep letting 3P sellers be abused. Amazon passes the buck because we collectively let them do it.
This has been going on for 20 years and each year it somehow manages to get worse. Yet here we all are.
